Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the world and a leading cause of cancer deaths in the UAE. Regular testing and early detection as well as strong support from family, friends and the community are essential.
This Pink October, Watania Takaful in collaboration with International Modern Hospital - Dubai is reaching out to over 100 women within our community who are aged 40 years old and above to get the necessary mammogram that may lead to saving their lives.
Throughout October, we are also running webinars and awareness activities with our staff and members to increase awareness and encourage more honest conversations to share the burden with each other because no one should face breast cancer alone.
